loki-doc software package provides MCMC linkage analysis on general pedigrees (PS manual), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install loki-doc
loki-doc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the loki-doc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep loki-doc *
You will get with loki-doc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
